Lucius and Lucy Snow Scovil built and operated Main Street’s Scovil Bakery in the 1840s. They supplied local residents with baked goods, crackers, and candy, as well as a variety of jams, jellies and confections. They also operated a catering service, supplying delicacies for banquets and parties held in the Cultural Hall.
