This beautiful city on the banks of the Mississippi River was originally built in 1839 by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The thriving community was a patchwork of homes, gardens, orchards and shops. After their forced evacuation, the city fell into ruin. In 1962, a renovation project began to restore the city’s historic homes and shops and preserve the history of the city. In 2002, the Nauvoo Temple restoration was completed. Enjoy a colorful print of this beautiful city in your own home.
